Brightness when zooming in on PDF

Hi!
When using the option "automatic light" with e.g. a PDF file showing a QR-code, the brightness goes up to max when showing the full page, but dims again when I click on the image to zoom in, typically to get a bigger QR code for scanners.
It would be better if the brightness stayed to max as I zoom in the PDF.
App version 3.5.7 installed from F-Droid.
