Dark mode not working automatically

I just (re)installed this app.

I the realized the app did show the light mode, despite being set to automatic and my phone is always set to dark mode.
So it looks like the automatic mode does not work.
I set the mode manually to "night" now.

I would also suggest to change the german translation from "Nacht/Tag" (night/day) to "dunkel/hell" (dark/light).

Seems the problem is I use MODE_NIGHT_AUTO which should be time based, You expect the behavior of MODE_NIGHT_FOLLOW_SYSTEM
Also just see that MODE_NIGHT_AUTO is now deprecated - so guess I replace auto with follow system.

I do not use this language - how is the system naming it there? I think we should follow what android is doing here
