cant get password error

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. committing files
2. updating

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I get a error saying that it cannot get password when trying to commit and or
update.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
mac osx 10.8.3
Please provide any additional information below.

Have you specified a password for the working copy in the Working Copies window?
What versions of svnX and subversion are you using?
