Love this theme. Thanks for all the hard work. I've been using this theme for over a year, but I have some UX/UI feedback for the theme when applied to the menu/launch bar on the desktop.
Feedback
For the menu/launch bar on the desktop, there is no visual indicator of the active program and open programs. See screenshot below where both Firefox and Nemo are open. Nemo is the active window.
Suggestion
Use visual indicator for active program and open programs, similar to the default Mint theme. See screenshot below where both Firefox and Nemo are open. Nemo is the active window. There is a line (matches theme color) to indicate open programs. The active program is highlighted.

@densha - are you definitely using the version from Cinnamon Spices? The lack of indicators is a problem with upstream Adapta but not the fork on Cinnamon Spices.
Open, unfocused apps have a grey bar, focused app has the theme selected color in the bar.
I'm potentially open to adjusting the shade of the dark grey bar to improve usability.
Your suggestion would work (changing the shade of grey). I suggest a lighter shade to contrast the black from the grey. The grey line is very difficult to see for a lot of users - especially if you have settings to decrease the amount of blue light.
Any chance you can change the shade of grey?
EDIT: As an alternative suggestion, you can also try slightly increasing the line thickness. The grey line can be difficult to see since it's on the edge of the screen.
EDIT 2: Just realized that the color variants of Nokoto are not the Cinnamon Spice theme, but from the upstream Adapta theme. I'll pass along the same feedback.
Hi @densha - I don't maintain any color variations of Adapta here - I guess you got them somewhere else (Colorpack?). You'd need to ask the authors to update their forks to properly support Cinnamon 4.0 and later.
I believe @Joshaby who posted above is working on improved Colorpak variations.
I'll look into amending the grey bar color in the fork I maintain. Next update will be due soon to have the theme support having it's font characteristics set by the system in Cinnamon 4.6.
This gray color does not affect me yet, and this is the first time someone has said that!
