Volume bar disappeared in Mint-X controls on Mint 21

Upgraded to Linux Mint 21 'Vanessa' MATE. There seems a glitch in Mint-X themes:

When adjusting system volume with Fn keys on my laptop, there should be a progress bar beneath the large speaker icon, like this:
(tTis screenshot was taken with Mint-X-Pink theme, but customized to Mint-Y controls.)

Now it looks like this:
mint-x

The same happens with the screen brightness bar.

I have downgraded mint-themes from 2.0.5 to 1.9.8 1 and the issue is now gone. I am holding this package for a while, until this gets fixed.
