How to disable "CTRL + Q" in Firefox web apps?

DeN-AlB opened this issue · 2 comments

I'm using a web app that opens a URL in Firefox. In Firefox I disabled "CTRL + Q" in "about:config" ("browser.quitShortcut.disabled = true") and it works. But when being in the web app and pressing "CTRL + Q" to mark an email as read in Outlook, the question appears, if I want to quit Firefox.

Is it possible to disable this shortcut?

in the web app, pressing the Alt button makes the menu bar visible, under Bookmarks is a link to about:config

I understand the web-app runs in an instance with separate config from the usual browser, so as @timonsky said you have to change the settings in an instance of the web-app.
