Cannot use <tab> or arrow keys on close document dialog

Issue
When closing an unsaved document, the only way to select a different button on the dialogue (with the default being "Save As...") is to mouse-click on it. You should be able to tab over to a different button or use the arrow keys. Neither keyboard option is functioning.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Edit a new or existing file so that the application sees it as an unsaved document
  2. close the tab (or the window if there's only one tab) with either the "X" (close) on the tab, or from the keyboard with -w.
  3. on the dialog asking to save the file, try moving to a different button by keyboard navigation

Expected behaviour
you should be able to select a different option/button with the key, arrow/cursor keys, a key combination shortcut, or a combination of any or all.
