Google gave a warning about security updates in the latest version of chrome. I presume the web engine Liri uses has become out of date.

You're right. Building Liri Browser with the latest Qt and QtWebEngine version should be enough to fix this.

Hey, @IdrissDimson. There won't be any official pre-built packages for the browser in the near future, sorry.
If you like, you can look into building Liri Browser yourself for now.
