๐Ÿ‘‹ Hey there! I'm the maintainer of chia-utils, the open-source JavaScript equivalent of this library. It seems like this library is a port of our library to Go. Our library is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0, which has a few, easy requirements on forks and derivative works such as your library.

Permissions:

  • Commercial use
  • Modification
  • Distribution
  • Patent use
  • Private use

Limitations:

  • Liability
  • Warranty

Conditions:

  • License and copyright notice
  • State changes
  • Disclose source
  • Network use is distribution
  • Same license

It seems like there are some conditions that are not being met. We would like to reach out to friendly urge you to follow the conditions in these simple ways:

  • License and copyright notice: GitHub takes care of this for you if you follow the rest of the conditions, so no need to worry
  • State changes: You should mention in your README that your library has been ported over to Go from the original JavaScript library https://github.com/CMEONE/chia-utils
  • Disclose source: You should mention in your README that the source was the original library (your library is derived from this library): https://github.com/CMEONE/chia-utils
  • Network use is distribution: No need to change anything for this part, it just means that if someone uses your library over a network, all of the same conditions apply (including that users are given a right to receive a copy of the source code)
  • Same license: Your derivative work must also be licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0, you can add a license to this GitHub repository and it will fulfill the License and copyright notice part of the conditions
