Snapshot Size Exceeds platerecognizer.com Upload Limit

I have a 2K Camera that produces 3.9mb snapshots. This exceeds the 3mb upload limit. Is there a way to tune this? I don't want to reduce the quality of the image captured by frigate, only reduce the size before uploading to platerecognizer.
