undefined method `set_comment_and_thread'

I get this error message undefined method `set_comment_and_thread' for #<Commontator::CommentsController:0x00007f3cbd3f90e8> whenever I try to upvote or downvote a comment. It also occurs when I try and edit my own comment. I have also included my config file if that helps.
