Partnerships: What do we want projects to give us?

Opened this issue · 4 comments

Here is a general project proposal outline.

Currently, we ask for a potentially vested airdrop or "some other benefits".

We can just leave it as it is, or we can be more specific on what constitutes "other benefits".

What are we willing to do the work for?

Imo, it's up to a project what to offer. Many things. Or maybe nothing. The question is if the lobs agree.

Sure, but people often take an easy suggested way out. Also setting up baseline expectations (maybe even a bit too high) helps with further negotiations.

As a baseline offer it looks good actually. Project specific could ask for more from us if they want to. People with experience in fundraising could give more ideas on how to become more useful to early stage project.

@tartakovsky thank you for writing this proposal. I'm going to take what you have written, in addition to the LIP template, and structure something around LobDAO Governance integration & rewards.

The main point I would like to work, to integrate into your doc is:

  • Do NOT reward people for voting. This is a really bad practice, that leads to poor signaling.

I'll expand on some interesting ways other projects could integrate LOBS via DAO governance.
Cheers!
