What is "expect" utility ?

What is "expect" utility ?

You mention that in order for SSH to work you must install the expect utility, but there is no link to what this actually is. Can you provide some more information on this ?

It's preinstalled if you're using OS X, you can double check with which expect.
On Linux (namely Ubuntu), I found it necessary to install it.
