Sound don't start

I selected sound notification "Candidate 1" and play for 5 sec, but it doesn't start. Sometimes it works without problems, but many times it doesn't .

I'm having a similar issue. Just installed it today, and the sound worked for the first 5-6 times, but since then nothing.

In the Options menu, everything works. I can choose the sounds and hear the sounds when I click on the Test. But in actual usage, whenever I get a notification popup, the sound doesn't play.
