One-click non-selectable date on iOS Device.

IOS device needs to click twice to select the date in the combo box.

I've done things here, but the problem continues:

I've cleaned-up #400 and added more information on that issue. I'd like to track this in a single place, so I'm closing this issue in favor of that one.
