Problems working with the volume buttons page flip feature?

I think it is a great part of the app, and makes browsing manga much more comfortable. Lots of page flips to do. Unfortunately my phone was grabbing those keypresses to actually change the volume and pull up an annoying audio context menu.
I managed a workaround by using a key remapper program to grab the volume key presses and tap the screen edge that way. The OEM volume context menu I remapped to volume up + volume down together.
It would be nice if jidoujisho could address this obvious problem. I was surprised not to find any issue about this on here.
