Partly broken in QGIS 2.18.11

Hi,

I am having trouble updating a integer attribute in QGIS 2.18.11 on Windows 7.
How to reproduce:

1. Select attributes
2. Select what field to update
3. Put in integer value
4. It doesn't update the fields.

The same procedure works in QGIS 2.14.17

The layer is a GPX layer, UTF-8 encoded.

Seems a qgis related issue i cannot edit gpx file with qgis itself
QGIS 2.18.13 in Ubuntu Linux
so the plugin also cannot do edit...
