Twitter card validator not picking up thumbnail from microlink from blog posts

I added the thumbnail for each blog with microlink cards. Everything works as expected in Facebook Sharing Debugger, but Twitter Card Validator is not picking up the image. The file where this is happening in the BlogSeo component.

My guess is that there is something that does not work correctly with NextSEO component or that I need to add more meta tags (although the Twitter docs says they are correct).
