Shortcut setting change doesn't get preserved

When I change the activation shortcut - the new shortcut works if I stay on the same tab/site, but reverts to the default if I reload the page.
Also if I change shortcut, press save button, close settings. And then open settings again straight away - I see the default shortcut value there.

Yup seems like a regression affecting all settings. I'll put out a fix.
