It would be nice to be able to sort the list by their namespaces, names or titles instead of only by their backlinks. (copied from https://www.dokuwiki.org/plugin:orphanswanted ) and I'd like to see this as well.

I would like to see this as well ... I'm working on an encyclopedia ... so that feature will help me to see missing articles.

Sorting by namespace and name is included in 5085610.
However, if it is not a list of orphans the primary order is the amount of links.

I'm considering a new parameter to have the pages being sorted by names only.
