Linear gradient is on top of the achartengine

Hello !
I am trying to draw linear gradient as canvas background where the line chart
of achartengine is drawn.
But when I use this : http://pastebin.com/PCYBZAft
The chart dissapear,this method is used inside drawSeries.
Any idea how to fix it ?
