Header text doesn't fade out properly

Describe the bug
When you go to the play menu and click one of the sections and then back out to the main menu, the fade out on the header doesn't seem to fade correctly.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to play menu
  2. Click on any section to expand it
  3. click the X or esc
  4. See error

Expected behavior
the fade to line up with everything else.
