Keyboard input no longer works when using convert to text

Hello! I love your little program. It really agrees with the vintage vibe of the remarkable! I'm having a little trouble, though. When I convert to text and want to continue editing, the external keyboard no longer works (the keyboard on the remarkable keeps closing). From consulting other users, I've figured out that this is because it registers the external keyboard as pen strokes now, so I would have to manually stop crazy cow every time I want to edit. Is there a way to automatically stop the program when convert to text launches and restart when I exit convert to text?

I experience this too, but don't see any other option, than to stop crazy cow...
