https:// requests cannot include http:// files.
Includes should be schemaless.
What's needed is to delete "http" in widgets.py (line 14, 15).
I've forked and fixed it: dfejgelis@22ec8dd
No idea how to submit a patch :S

Thanks @dfejgelis. This was corrected in the master branch about 4 months ago: 59c8ebd
I'll go ahead and send a new version out to pypi.
