"Thumbnails" view setting is selected but not applies.

Workaround: on every case of this switch to "Titles" and back to "Thumbnails"

It is related to #95 - though for files it would be preferable to actually have it as a default

Can not reproduce.

I click on the link you provide, select "thumbnails", thumbnails appear.

Do you mean something different?

now trying to get permalink to thumbnails view is neither setting this option nor enabling thumbnails

Yes, exactly. I would consider it as a part of query.

And at time when I reported it - that was seemingly included (toggle selected) but not applied - maybe it was remembered by browser?
