Incoming links (count) column not generated in particular PetScan run

In this PetScan run, the incoming links column data isn't generated when sorting by incoming links, although if I push the results from this into a PagePile and create a second query off that, the column is generated and is sortable.

Here's what's in the involved original query that fails to show incoming links column data:

1. Under Categories, I have one category and two negative categories. They are WikiProject-related (talk pages).
2. Under Page properties, Talk is checked.
3. Under Other sources/Namespaces, "Change to page/topic" is selected. (Because I'm interested in the subject pages (articles), not their talk pages where WikiProject banners are placed)
4. Under Output/Sort, "by incoming links (ns0)" is selected. Sort order is ascending.

Somehow, the query I put together isn't connecting to the incoming links data.
