from wiki: "mobs will still have knockback and give the same effect as if they were being damaged. In both versions, they can still damage armor."
(Edit: with armor i think they mean player armor)

Probably Mobs Redo doesn't do knockback when the punch damage is 0.

I need to talk to TenPlus1 about that one.

Armor needs complete rework, see #58.
