what do I do about 2FA code?

What happened?

Its asking for 2FA code, but where do i get my 2-step verification code?

Hi @Foxiseminger , what did you do to get the 2FA? I'm stuck at the "enter 2FA code" prompt and have no idea how to get it. I usually get a system notification when dealing with other services but not this time

EDIT: Got a verification code from MacOS System preferences -> Apple ID -> 2FA -> Get verification code, but I'm still getting the error

Meeting the problem while trying via:
ipatool auth login -e xxx@xxx
INF enter password:
INF enter 2FA code:

Ending this issue via:
ipatool auth login -e xxx@xxx -p xxx
INF enter 2FA code:

the key is inputing -e xxx -p xxx two parameters the same time
