Yeah, the mod is not server-compatible right now like the readme says. Definitely something I want to fix in the future.

Nevermind that, I just tested it and it does work with servers (save for an issue with the LightFixStare tweak which I just fixed). Your issue happens because CoreTweaks's access transformer config is not getting applied for some reason. This is probably unrelated to the fact that you were running on a discrete server.
Can you run the game with the -Dfml.debugAccessTransformer=true flag and post your fml-client-latest.log?
