Double negative:

would read better as either

      <p>Sorry, but the page you&#8217;re looking for doesn&#8217;t exist.</p>

or

      <p>Sorry, but the page you&#8217;re looking for does not exist.</p>

Oh, and as a total noob hereabouts, I meant to mention my appreciation for github's 404 page, which is a genuine laugh riot! (But you already knew that.)
