Reminder not working

when the app close. It only works when i let it open in background.
I try built in notes app and the reminder just works fine even after close.

It is just fragmentation in android some third party manufacturer override some default behaviour on android even in some device's like Oppo A5s on android 8.1 i tried the google's clock app reminder is won't send Notification if it removed from background.
