i don't know what changed between last night and today. i'm going to try rebooting my computer to see if that helps. if it does i'll let you know. this issue seems to be impacting all projects. i hope this is the crash log. because i'm not sure what the Log (devenv.exe) document is referring to. i did find the ActivityLog.xml if that's what you need i can post that as a comment. but it's kinda long so i don't want to spam this if it's not the right thing.

i think this is a duplicate of #308

i was able to revert to the previous version of visual studio. i had to reinstall mdk. and repair the project. but it looks like it's working again.
