Aside of that, I don't think there's anything more possible.
Specific device IDs for packages are created at build time (so of course, there isn't trace between sources.. Aside of hacks with catalyst).
And parsing mhwd* binaries on the server seems pretty overpowered, imo
...
What's your matter anyway?
