Extension Doesn't work on GNOME 3.36

Upgraded to GNOME 3.36 this and the extension doesn't work at all. Shows an "ERROR" badge only.
Pull request: #18 fixed for GNOME 3.32 and 3.34

I have refactored the master branch code and as of today have it working on GNOME 3.36 (Ubuntu 20.04). Now I need to figure out how to get it up here to share with others.

the patch fails with some errors.
could you provide the patched code ?
