We need to make the below updates to the SANS interface manual testing instructions to address the comments from 6.11 testing (#37995).

In the Automatic Save Selection section:

  1. Might be worth making it clear that the tester should be on the Runs tab at this point (although they technically should be following setup).
  2. For point 1, this might be clearer as: Select File or Both from the Save Options at the bottom right of the screen.
  3. For point 2, In the Reduction section to the left of the Save Options, switch between the 1D and 2D radio buttons.
  4. For point 4, Change the selected Reduction radio button., or similar. The confusion here is that the term "reduction mode" can refer to other settings in the GUI, so we need to make it clear that we mean the radio buttons.
  5. We should add a final step: Set the Save Option back to Memory to continue with the rest of the tests.

In the Processing section:

  1. Add a first step to get the tester to clear all workspaces from the workspaces list.
  2. Under the 2D reduction section, add a first step to check that the reduction mode is set to All on the settings tab (same first step as is given for the 1D reduction).
  3. The plot results checkbox has been hidden and is likely to be removed in future (see #37824). We should remove all steps under this section that refer to testing the plot results functionality (these can be reinstated if we ultimately decide to keep the feature).
  4. In the Scaled Background Subtracted Reduction tests, step 13 should be Set the Save Options to Both and ensure that save outputs CanSAS (1D) and NXcanSAS (1D/2D) are ticked.
  5. In the Scaled Background Subtracted Reduction tests, step 2 should be Open this new copy in a text editor and find the [detector.configuration] section. Under this section, make sure setting selected_detector is set to "Merged" (these could be separated into two new steps rather than all in one).

In the Display section:

  1. Remove reference to the Plot Results tooltips.
