Helium support

Hi!
I'm trying to use this library to connect to the helium network. I understand this library was made to be used with the Things Network, but I didn't find other options to develop a device using the esp-idf, all the other libraries target the arduino framework.

So, anyone has used this library with the helium network? Does it requires any adaptation?

I made some experiments but I wasn't able to connect to the network successfully.
