Question: How does the README example work

Hello,
I'd like to know how the example with the 6 millions points work. I don't think 6 millions points are fetched from the back-end (are they? ).
What does the UI handle and what does the server handle ?

They are fetched from a local GeoJSON file for demonstration purposes. Note that this is a place to report issues in the library, not to ask general questions.
