Selective "Modes" of interaction

Rather than giving the user endless checkboxes for GIS layers, I suggest we come up with well curated map layers, or "modes", that can be bundled and turned on through graphic friendly buttons.

For example: wildlife mode enables fish and animal migration patterns, rehabilitation ares, etc.

Pollution mode would highlight areas of concern and known violators.

This could open up interesting doors, especially with vector basemaps etc.

Each mode would be shareable and accessible at a URL such as:

Closing this, we now have a working "Storymap" feature
