repo request: adding small example files to quickly check installation

Thanks for the excellent tool!

A small request: could you include small example files such that users could quickly check that the installation was successful? This should also make the use case (e.g. input formats, etc.) more clear.

Naturally, trying mashmap --help gives you some idea, but it would be better to run on an example.

Also, please provide links to the publications you provide---that would make life easier.
