sorry to bother.. but after several dozens of switches, I've found that yours is still, by far, the best, as you handled elegantly both the click and the drag events and it is the lightest solutions available, as others have usually dependency on jquery (90+Kb) or react(170+Kb)
I know I'm asking much but.. would it be possible to have it working without PNG dependency?
I'm not good at all with CSS, but the 'problem' seem to be with those image backgrounds.
