can dvtm be remote-controlled one way or another ?
I would a keybinding handled by my wm (i3) to prompt a new shell, but inside a currently running dvtm.
Because UNIX principles are cool and suck less, but if it can't integrate well with programs that do the job you won't do, it sucks a lot.

Oh, I got it, xodotool right ? Seems logical, and straightforward. I'm not used to stuff yet, ignore that.
