Why, these two colors are not the same

Opened this issue · 6 comments

You need to go to the setting of the material theme builder and check the color match option so the primary color directly set to actual value

您需要转到材质主题构建器的设置并选中颜色匹配选项,以便原色直接设置为实际值
Is this it?
Can you elaborate on that?
I don't know much about the design side.

I think you are confusing the "primary color" with the "primary color role".
When you select a primary color (in this case #673AB7) you get a tonal palette, and then one of those colors (in this case P-40, whose value is #6750a4) is used for the "primary color role".

Also, as @deweyferdinand said, if you need to more precisely choose your colors you can check the "Color match" option.

@ElianFabian is P-40 supposed to be the same color as Primary40? They seem to be different (same with S-40 vs. Secondary40, etc.)

I used a color picker and they have the exact same hex number, you can do the same to check it.

let say we'd like to keep the color we give as the default for the p-40, does this require a new issue #featureRequest or is it a bug?
