Use in Game Mode for Steam Deck?

I've been trying to get this working on my Steam Deck. It does indeed work, but only in desktop mode. I've added it as a non-steam game, but it never works. Is there a way to get this working in game mode?
What specifically do you mean by "never works"? Unfortunately, I can't test this myself because I do not have a Steam Deck to test it on, but you might be able to research if there is a similar issue with other electron apps.
Also, if anyone reading this wanted to donate a steam deck that would be great.
I mean it never works in game mode, and neither on Steam library. It only works when I double click on the file within the folder in desktop mode.
Can you attach a screen recording or something?

I found a related thread but I didn't see an answer.

I might need to package the application as an AppImage because the list of supported files in the file picker is *.application, *.exe, *.sh, and *.AppImage
So how do you do that?
I would have to create and publish an AppImage version of Nativefier-YouTube-on-TV-for-Desktop.
Would it be an update release?
I would release a new update and would include an AppImage as a download option.
Oh Ok. Also is there something similar with Netflix, Crunchyroll, etc?
You can make your own app from any website.

Is the update up yet?
I will try to release it in the next few days after the upstream nativefier project merges this pr. I do not have an x86 linux computer to test it on so I will have to try to create and test it in Gitpod/GitHub Codespaces.
And another thing, is there a way to get a Roku or Smart TV version of Netflix and other streaming apps to use for nativefier?
YouTube only works because the YouTube Roku app is just a special browser that loads youtube.com/tv. You could use a different streaming app if you could find one that is just a website.
So Netflix, Crunchyroll etc. on Roku works the same as using them on the browser?
Is there an update made yet?
