Controlling Salus it500 from Google Home

Is anyone interested in working on a way to control the Salus it500 from the Google Home devices?
If you don't have a Google Home device then perhaps we could use the Google Assistant app for testing purposes.
I was thinking of perhaps using the IFTTT platform with Webhooks but there may be more elegant solutions.
Please let me know if you are interested in exploring this possibility.
I've extracted out the Salus-related code into a SalusClient which should make this easier, together with making it possible to support other heating systems.. I'm happy to collaborate with anyone who is interested in @TonyFrend's suggestions above.
Hi @matthewturner, have you found a way to control iT500 with Google Home? I’m really interested about it...the new it600 which supports by default it’s pretty expensive.
Looking forward your answer :)
Hi @otnielmagda, Sorry! I've only just seen this message. Is this still of interest? I'm looking at making some more changes which should make this easier. Also, I'd welcome any pull requests to help make this happen.
Hi! Yesss! Cu stimă / Yours Faithfully, Otniel B. Magda
…
I have salus it600 and is not working with google home :) So is better stay with it500.
I am struggling to integrate it600 into the home assistant for more efficient control :)
@otnielmagda how are you with Node code?
You should now be able to use code from here to set up a lambda to act as a web hook.
Or I could look to give you an API key so you can send me events. Could you follow the Smarthome API event format?
Please note, I'm no longer maintaining this repo and have separated things out. Perhaps we can continue this in one of the new repos?
