Is this project still maintained or dead?

Apologies for the super late response -- I would indeed at this point call it dead or at least not maintained. I don't think it's as useful with all the HCL2 improvements in the last couple years, plus I just don't have the time to maintain it. Others are certainly welcome to fork and do as they please!
