Migration to Androidx

Hi Team,
I am trying to migrate the plugin to androidx but not able to do it.
I have tried jetifier and androidx-adpater plugin as well.
Did anyone successfully migrated to androidx ?

I have already tried jettifer and migrating from android studio as well. But nothing works. Did you try on your end ?
Hmm, too bad. I use Ionic 5 and in combination with jetifier that seems to work for me. Perhaps give some more detailed description of exactly what isn't working for you. Somebody might be able to help out.

Update : = This gets compiled and installed in phone but I get this

- add this line UNDER

Seems to work quite well, do you have any more feedback of problems you might have encountered following this code change?
Info: I use this plugin with capacitor 2.4.2 and have run jetify but not sure it made a difference.
@tobika I made this hack for one android build, since then I test the background geolocation features only on iOS. Now I have problems with Android build but those problems come from another plugin..
