after clicking on the message it brought me to the property dashboard. When I clicked on property and then on the actual listing it brought me to a 403 page instead of the listing.

This is not enough info. What did the message say? Was it for tour, listing request, etc. You need to be more specific

The user is a member of the group that is a part of this house. From the "My House" page. He clicks the property, then clicks to view the property. He is given a 403 error, he should still be able to view it

We may need to restrict the ability to see the 4 request buttons

Perhaps, do a check to see if the listing has a house associated with it?
