Not able to add fields from SharePoint to tabs container.

Opened this issue · 1 comments

I realize a Sharepoint form has limitations as to the number of fields it can handle, does SPEasyForms have similar limitations with regards containers, and conditional visibility rules?

I am trying to add fields to a tab container, and it will not allow me to add any more.

That's very strange and I haven't seen that before. In general, when anyone has asked about limitations on the number of fields for SPEasyForms, it has been a performance question, and when they've removed the SPEasyForms configuration (or even uninstalled SPEasyForms) they've still had the performance issue, meaning that yes, SharePoint does have some limitations in that respect.

But I would only expect SharePoint's limitations to affect the forms, not the SPEasyForms configuration page. What does it mean that it won't allow you to add any more? You can't add more fields? or you can't add more visibility rules? or both? And does that mean you drag fields to it and nothing happens? or you get an error? etc.

I'm pretty sure I cannot reproduce this without a great deal more information. I can say that I've seen SPEasyForms used on lists that had hundreds of fields without issue (except the issue that that's a lot of friggin' fields for one list, and that's not so much an SPEasyForms issue ;).
