Overview:
- The unbranded Medic app may be de-listed from the Play Store on June 21, 2022
- Google is requesting login credentials to complete their app review
- Credentials were provided, but for some reason the review was never completed by Google
Timeline:
- June 7: Google sends notification to
android@medicmobile.org
indicating that login credentials needed to be provided according to the app access documentation. - June 8: Access credentials were added in the "App content > App access" section of the Developer's Console (as specified by the documentation)
- June 20: We notice that there is still a warning in the Developer's Console indicating that the app will be de-listed for non-compliance referencing this issue of login credentials
- June 21: I tweak the login steps originally provided on June 8 and save them again. This seems to trigger a new entry in "Publishing Overview > Changes to review".
- This gives some hope that perhaps a new review of the app has been triggered. 🤔
(Indirectly related to #291)
