Two examples to run MeiliSearch are present in our repository documentations:

  • in the README.md, in the Installation section.
  • in the CONTRIBUTING.md, in the Development Workflow section.

TODO: change both examples in README.md and CONTRIBUTING.md the same way as we have already done it in this PR meilisearch/meilisearch-python#348

FYI, we prefer not assigning people to our issues because sometimes people ask to be assigned and never come back, which discourages the volunteer contributors to open a PR to fix this issue.
We will accept and merge the first PR that fixes correctly and well implements the issue following our contributing guidelines.
